Item and bot status
How to tell where an item is and why it may not have arrived.
Trade stages
Created, sent by the bot, waiting for Steam confirmation, completed. Until the trade is confirmed in mobile Steam Guard the item stays with the sender.
Trade hold
If Steam Guard has been on for less than 15 days Valve holds the item for up to 15 days. The site cannot affect or bypass that hold.
Bots
Trades go through the site trade bots. If a bot is busy or restarting, the trade goes into a queue and leaves with the next free bot.
How to check a bot
The full list of our bots opens from the Trade bots link in the footer. It shows the nickname, the account registration date and the Steam level. Before confirming a trade, compare the nickname and level of the sender with that list.
Trade cancelled
Steam cancels an offer if it was not accepted in time, if the inventory changed or if the trade link became invalid. The items stay where they were. Create the deal on the site again.
Item not tradable
Some items carry a Steam trade restriction, for example after a purchase on the Steam Community Market. The site shows them but cannot accept them yet. The date the restriction ends is visible in your Steam inventory.
If the status does not change
Refresh the page and check the trade offers section in Steam. If the trade is completed in Steam but the site still shows the old status, write to support with the trade id.
